Shadows of The True

We have encountered an issue with the venue and are looking for another place to host the the Shadows of the True Series. The starting date may change as well. Stay tuned.

Shadows of the True is founded in two portions of Scripture and specifically addresses the fallacies of the Hebrew Roots Movement and the group that I was once involved with that had a focus on a return to keeping the Law.

Col 2:16 and 17 – “So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.”

Heb 10:1  – “For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.”

I was a teaching elder and vice-president of Messiah Fellowship, Inc. located in Brighton, Indiana and now in Ontario, Indiana. My family left that religious legalistic cult in June of 2020, shortly after out oldest daughter passed from cancer. We had been at Messiah Fellowship, formerly Maranatha Christian Fellowship, and Calvary Christian Fellowship for twenty-seven years. I was manager of CSN International radio stations, WQKO and WCVM, The Effect, prior to the stations being yanked because of the drift into HRM legalism by the leadership of the church, headed by Pastor Ron Hyre.

We will eventually have videos of these teachings on this webpage. But being with us in person gives us the chance to answer your questions and to engage in a dialogue centered around the Truth of The Word and the Freedom we all care so deeply about. I hope you will plan to join us.

I am also available to speak at your church fellowship, small group, one on one, or at any gathering to answer your questions and encourage and support you. I don’t have a fee to come and share and minister. I am blessed by love offerings, as they help me continue to do what I do and meet mine and my wife, Karen’s obligations. I don’t take a salary from First Love Outreach Fellowship, Inc. If the distance means lodging, air travel, or beyond twenty-five miles or so, one way, I humbly ask for money for expenses. -Pastor Banner
